Brhaspativaar Vrat Katha

The Brihaspativar Vrat Katha (Thursday Fast Story) is a Hindu legend about the benefits of observing a fast on Thursdays, which is dedicated to Lord Brihaspati (Jupiter). One version describes a poor, unfortunate woman who was advised by Lord Vishnu to observe the fast, offering yellow items and avoiding washing clothes or cutting hair on Thursdays, leading to her prosperity. Another story tells of a wealthy king who lost his fortune after neglecting the importance of Thursday and then regained it by sincerely observing the fast.
